My name is Jean and together with my sister Lesley we would like to welcome you and thank you for visiting Baby Blossoms. Ours is a story of love, hope and creativity that has evolved into an exciting baby gift basket business that has strengthened the bond between two sisters and the entrepreneurial spirit we share.

 

Lesley is a former pastry chef and I have a background in fine arts and graphic design. We always talked about someday being able to start a business together that would allow us to stay home with our children yet would be fun and give us a creative outlet for our talents. I was about to have my second child when I lost my eyesight to a virus. Our dreams of owning our own business were suddenly dashed. While I was desperately working with doctors to restore my eyesight, Lesley was turning her nervous energy into a one-of-a-kind baby gift for me.

 

As my eyesight slowly improved I was able to see my beautiful baby girl and the thoughtful gift Lesley made for me. All the flowers I had received had withered away but one gift remained - a beautiful gift basket arranged to look like a bouquet of flowers that displayed a myriad of useable baby items. After some time Lesley and I were able to start our business after all. We agreed that our gifts should be an alternative to traditional flower bouquets. Our gift selections should be a celebration of a newborn's birth that was fun and unique. After sending our gift bouquets to family and friends the response was fantastic!
